Arnott Announces New West Coast Distribution Center

Arnott Inc. has announced the opening of a West Coast Distribution Center in California. The new facility is part of Arnott's ongoing commitment to enhance customer support in North America and across the world.

Arnott Inc. (ArnottInc.com) has announced the opening of a West Coast Distribution Center in California. The new facility is part of Arnott’s ongoing commitment to enhance customer support in North America and across the world. The distribution center will primarily serve customers in the Mountain and Pacific Time Zones along with Alaska and Hawaii. Since Arnott’s main distribution center is located at the company headquarters in Merritt Island, Florida, the new site will dramatically reduce freight costs and shorten delivery times for Arnott customers in the Western United States. Prior to opening the new distribution center customers in some parts of the west had to wait five or six days for Arnott parts shipped via UPS Ground. Now those same areas will receive Arnott’s air suspension products in half the time and overnight in some locations in Southern California and Nevada.

"It’s important for us to continue providing each of our customers with the parts they need as quickly as possible," said Todd Nash, Senior VP of Global Sales and Marketing at Arnott Inc. "At Arnott, we understand that time is money, and with this new distribution center, our customers will be able to benefit from faster delivery which means faster repairs at higher margins." Nash added, "We will continue to look for other distribution alternatives to better serve our customers in all markets."

Timing BMW VANOS N53 And N54

To service them, you will need the appropriate toolset to lock the crank and camshaft.

The BMW N53 (naturally aspired) and N54 (turbocharged) engines were among the first BMW engines to come with variable valve timing on the intake and exhaust camshafts. The N53 and N54 straight-six have unfairly earned a bad reputation for reliability with technicians due to timing chain and variable valve timing problems. The reputation comes from owners not keeping up with oil changes and it is difficult to check engine timing.
