KANSAS CITY, MO — Organizers for the annual VISION Hi Tech Training and Expo have announced the completion of the full schedule for the 2013 event, which will be held March 7-10 in Overland Park, Kan., at the Overland Park Convention Center.

The upcoming 2013 VISION — themed ‘PowerUp ’13’ — includes 20 shop management and 65 technical/educator-focused sessions, led by an all-star lineup of trainers, including John Thornton, Jorge Menchu, Richard Flint, Chubby Frederick, Maylan Newton, Scot Manna, Mark Quarto, Betty Jo Young and Donny Seyfer.

“We look forward to being a part of VISION each year. The show and training bring in the best technicians, shop owners and managers from the industry,” says Jorge Menchu, president of AESWave, who will present a session on wiring diagram analysis. “And I’m very excited to have the chance to share important information with them, both in the session and on the show floor.”

“Attendees may have a hard time setting their schedules this year,” says Sheri Hamilton, ASA MoKan executive director and VISION show manager. “We strive to bring the service industry the best training available to VISION each year, and I believe we’ve got a top-notch lineup of trainers and topics for the upcoming event that may have some of our attendees wishing they could be in two places at once.”

VISION will also feature the VISION Power Summit and the Educator Think Thank series of courses. The VISION Power Summit is specifically designed for shop owners and front counter employees with topics covering sales, new business opportunities and personnel management.

The Educator Think Tank series provides votech and college instructors a full-day of courses dedicated to their special needs, tackling subjects from classroom presence to 21st century teaching methods. Additional management and educator courses are also offered throughout the weekend.

Early-bird registration discounts offer significant savings for attendees through Jan. 31; online and mail-in registration is open now for the 2013 VISION Hi Tech Training and Expo. In addition, packages for the full event, weekend-only and Thursday or Friday single-day attendance, as well as a la carte additional events and guest passes, maximize scheduling flexibility for all participants.

Registration for individual courses will be available Feb. 15.
