Fras-le Launches New Electronic Catalog For Disc Brake Pads

Fras-le's disc pad catalog contains more than 340 part numbers, representing more than 150 FMSI D-Plates, and covering more than 3,600 Class 1C-8 vehicles. Data can be queried by part number or by make/model/year.

Fras-le North America has partnered with Illumaware LLC to launch a new electronic catalog for its line of hydraulic and air disc brake pads. Powered by MyCarParts, an online software tool developed by Illumaware, the data in Fras-le’s electronic catalog is now compliant with the latest AAIA ACES and PIES standards. The catalog went live earlier this month.

Fras-le’s disc pad catalog contains more than 340 part numbers, representing more than 150 FMSI D-Plates, and covering more than 3,600 Class 1C-8 vehicles. Data can be queried by part number or by make/model/year. The catalog features detailed brake pad illustrations that denote the dimensions of the backing plate, the thickness of the friction material, as well as chamfers and slots. Also listed in the catalog are interchange data, material quality and an application buyer’s guide for each part number.

“This new, user friendly, electronic catalog provides our customers with accurate data, validated each month by the latest AAIA standards. With MyCarParts, I have the ability to update our interchange database, instantly. Putting current and comprehensive interchange data into the hands of a WD, counterperson or technician makes this eCat a very powerful tool,” said Rafael Di Buono, Fras-le North America’s product manager.

Fras-le’s disc pad line consists of premium semi-metallic and ceramic friction materials for Class 1c-8 work trucks. Fras-le is the OEM friction supplier on many medium-duty work trucks in the U.S.
