Dodge Tech Tip: Jingle/Squeak from L/H Rear of Vehicle

The driver may experience a squeak and/or jingle from the left rear of the vehicle when driving over rough roads.

MODELS: 2010 Caravan/Town and Country built after March 14, 2010 (MDH03I4XX) and before November 3, 2010 (MDH1103XX).
SYMPTOM/CONDITION: The customer may experience a squeak and/or jingle from the left rear of the vehicle when driving over rough roads.
DIAGNOSIS: Rear parking brake cables are making the noise.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1. Raise the vehicle.
2. Fasten tie strap around the left rear routing bracket and parking brake cables as indicated in the diagram as #2. Remove any existing tie straps on the parking brake cables near the left rear routing bracket.
3. Lower the vehicle and return the vehicle to the customer.
