The winners of the Automotive Parts Associates (APA) Professionals’ Choice Hollywood Exotic Driving Promotion were awarded a special trip to Hollywood, where they enjoyed an incredible dinner at The Ivy restaurant in Beverly Hills, drove numerous exotic cars at the California Speedway and had a VIP experience at Universal Studios Hollywood.

They had the opportunity to drive the new McLaren 570S at speeds of more than 100 miles an hour, and also were escorted to the front of lines at Universal Studios, as well as the sets of TV shows. They also were among the first to see the brand-new Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Hollywood.

“I completely thought it was a joke when the guys from Speedway came into my office and told me I’d won. But, here we sit having dinner at The Ivy in Beverly Hills,” said Rick Wolsifer from Coatesville, Indiana.

The lucky winners were from Kasper Buick in Sandusky, Ohio; New Fairfield Auto in New Fairfield, Connecticut; and R & M Automotive in Plainfield, Indiana. These winners were customers of APA shareholders World Auto Parts in Cleveland; Levine Auto + Truck Parts in Danbury, Connecticut; and Speedway Automotive in Indianapolis, respectively.

This promotion ran at hundreds of APA’s WD locations across North America from January through March 2016 and was sponsored by Airtex, ASC, Akebono, Autolite, BBB Industries, BeckArnley, Bosch, Champ, Denso, Dorman, Exide, Federal-Mogul, FRAM, Gates, KYB, MAS, Mevotech, Permatex, SKF, Smitty’s Supply, Trico, Walker Products and ZF/Sachs.
