Tech Shop Top 5 Tools Award

Each month, we ask you, the nation’s technicians and repair shop owners, to identify your TOp 5 Tools and submit the information to us. You frequently choose the most used and most useful products in your toolbox. They may be an old favorite or maybe a new one. Each tool is chosen without any regard to TechShop’s advertisers or editors. At the end of the year, we award the companies that were most named throughout the year.

"The Top 5 Tools Award recognized companies that exhibit exceptional brand strength, technological leadership and product innovation," said Publisher Jeff Stankard. "It is the only true equipment and tool award from shop owners and technicians."

Past award winners include: ALLDATA, Fluke, GearWrench, iATN, Ingersoll-Rand, Mac Tools, Makita, Matco Tools, OTC, Power Probe, Raytek, Rotary Lift, RTI Technologies, Snap-on Diagnostics, Snap-on Tools, Tracer Products and Vetronix. The awards for 2006 will be announced in November at the AAPEX Show.
