Tenneco Inc. has enhanced its popular online parts catalog for the Monroe brakes product line and plans continual data updates, including expanded coverage of late-model domestic and import applications. The Monroe brakes eCatalog, available at www.monroebrakes.com, now includes 872 part numbers covering hundreds of leading applications.

A total friction solution for today’s service providers, Monroe premium brakes are manufactured and marketed by Tenneco Inc., a leading global manufacturer of ride control, friction, exhaust/emission, and noise, vibration and harshness control products for the original equipment and replacement markets.

After launching more than 40 new part numbers in conjunction with the 2006 Monroe Premium Brakes Master Catalog, Tenneco is planning additional coverage expansions later this year. Each of these expansions will be included in the brand’s online catalog.

The new eCatalog helps technicians and consumers identify and select premium replacement brake pads for any of more than 840 domestic- and foreign-nameplate applications.

“Monroe is committed not only to providing the ideal replacement brake product for any popular model, but also the tools and technical support shops need to better serve their customers,” said Carri Irby, brakes brand manager, North American aftermarket, Tenneco. “This eCatalog is another key part of our total solution for today’s service provider.”

Monroe Premium Brake pads are engineered to produce less noise and dust and provide better stopping performance than many competing products. Plus, Monroe pads are shipped complete with all required hardware and related components and materials enabling service providers to speed the repair process.

Each set of Monroe pads is available with a $25 consumer mail-in rebate through October 31, 2006. In addition to the rebate, Monroe premium brake pads are offered with Tenneco’s exclusive 90-day risk-free “Safe & Sound Guarantee,” which enables consumers to return the products within 90 days for a full refund of the purchase price plus labor up to specified limits.
