Technician Preston Cremeans won the grand prize in the Raybestos brand brakes Spring Brake 2005 promotion, a 2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS worth more than $28,000.

Cremeans, who purchases Raybestos brand brakes through Walker Automotive in Durham, NC, held the winning entry in the Spring Brake promotion, which enabled professional service technicians to earn points for every purchase of an open stock order of premium-quality Raybestos brand brakes. Technicians could redeem points for premium prizes, including NASCAR-licensed apparel. With each prize, participants also received an entry form for a chance to win NASCAR.com gift certificates and the grand-prize Monte Carlo SS.

“The Spring Brake promotion was a unique way to reward technicians not only for their loyalty to Raybestos brand brakes, but also for their key role in spreading the message of automotive safety and the importance of regular vehicle maintenance,” said Ken Myers, marketing manager for Affinia Under Vehicle Group. “We extend our thanks to Preston, and we’re pleased to present him with the grand prize Monte Carlo.”

In addition to Cremeans, five lucky technicians from across the country won NASCAR.com gift certificates worth $1,000. More than 150 technicians earned NASCAR.com gift certificates valued from $50 to $100.
