The video explains how updating Snap-on diagnostics tools with the latest software gives technicians the confidence that they can handle any job that pulls into their bay. It includes details on Snap-on’s domestic, Asian and European coverage, information on Fast-Track Troubleshooter, Guided Component Tests, SureTrack, the Snap-on Software Subscription Program and much more.

“What makes a Snap-on diagnostic tool the best in the business is what goes in it, not only when it’s first purchased, but over the life of the tool,” said Mark Schaefer, director of marketing, Snap-on Diagnostics. “By keeping diagnostic software up-to-date, technicians are not only maximizing their diagnostic tool investment, but guaranteeing it’s always providing the same comprehensive performance as it did on day one.”

Software Upgrade 16.2 provides access to 105,440 additional codes, tests, tips and data for vehicles as far back as 1997, as well as new 2015 domestic and Asian coverage for Acura, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Jeep, Kia, Lincoln, Mitsubishi and Ram. The exclusive Fast-Track Troubleshooter coverage goes all the way back to 1980 with 17,490 new tips and timesavers. The upgrade also includes 27,650 new Guided Component Tests.

A Snap-on Software Subscription aids technicians to get through repairs quickly and accurately by continuously delivering high quality coverage and real time access to information without having to think about it. Plus, not only does the program offer lower weekly or monthly payments, but it includes SureTrack for eligible platforms at no additional charge, saving customers from spending hundreds of dollars on competitors’ repair information products.
