Registration Now Open For MACS 2016 Training Event

MACS-Logo-300x154Registration is now open for the Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS) Worldwide’s 2016 Training Event and Trade Show, which is scheduled to take place Feb. 11-13, 2016, at the Caribe Royale all-suite hotel and convention center in Orlando, Florida.

The 2016 event theme is “Mobile A/C: The Next Generation,” highlighting the new technologies and generational transition in the total vehicle climate and thermal management industry. The automotive service industry is in the midst of the largest generational shift in its more than 100-year history. The men and women who will be stepping into leadership roles face technology and business challenges we could only scarcely imagine 25 years ago.

Industry networking is the No. 1 reason attendees cite for participating, as the MACS annual Training Event and Trade Show is the No. 1 meeting place for all professionals in the total global vehicle climate and thermal management industry, event organizers say.

MACS will have a blockbuster line-up of mobile A/C technical training covering automotive and light-duty truck, heavy-duty truck, off-road and recreational vehicles. Industry experts from ACDelco, American Cooling Technology, Bergstrom, Caterpillar, DENSO, Eaton, Fiat Chrysler, Ford, Four Seasons, Gates, General Motors, Jaguar, Red Dot, Robert Bosch, T/CCI Mfg., the U.S. E.P.A. and other industry experts will provide information and training. Tony Molla, vice president of the Automotive Service Association, will deliver the keynote address.

Social events include a MACS annual golf tournament to be held at the Celebration Golf Course; a comedy night at the Caribe ice-breaker social; a casino night worthy of racing fans and more networking opportunities.

Attendees can find a complete list of events and register for them on the MACS website and exhibitors can now sign-up for booth space via http://bit.ly/1K6cZbu.

The exhibitor priority point deadline is Monday, Sept. 21. The MACS Trade Show will take place on Friday, Feb. 12, 2016.

Links are also available to reserve a hotel room at the Caribe Royale where the host hotel room rate is $159 per night plus tax single or double occupancy. Links and discounts for ground transportation are also available.
