Gates Corp. Releases 255 New Automotive Aftermarket Parts

GatesGates Corp. has announced the release of 255 SKU additions across its product lines, expanding its OE-quality product coverage.

The product release includes the expansion of the Integrated Thermostat Housing line with 27 new products covering 3.6 million vehicles in operation (VIO). Each product includes all components needed to complete the job in one easy step, eliminating fitment issues and the need for special tools. Supplementing the line, Gates has added 39 SKUs of traditional thermostats including 13 that are “OE exact.”

Addressing seasonal and utility needs, Gates expands coverage to its G-Force and G-Force C12 belt lines for ATVs and snowmobiles with the addition of 27 new belts that are designed to deliver high performance in demanding conditions. The release includes a new G-Force C12 belt for the 2016 Polaris RZR 1000 Turbo, which is engineered to exceed OE technology and durability, according to Gates.

The release also includes the introduction of engine cooling fan modules with 31 parts covering 26.5 million VIO. These parts are designed to precisely operate the fan speed to minimize energy loss and maximize fuel economy.

Gates said it also continues to address specific market needs by expanding coverage to its emission ventilation hose line and by adding an all-in-one repair kit for turbo-equipped Subaru vehicles. Five new emission ventilation hose parts covering failure-prone applications are now available. All parts are constructed with high-quality materials for durability and maximum service life to restore the emission system to proper operation and performance. For performance-oriented, turbo-equipped Subaru vehicles, Gates has added a kit with an upgraded return line hose for improved temperature performance; and two upgraded, self-tensioning spring clamps to provide better sealing.

“We see each new product release as an opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to quality and innovation as well as to addressing ever-changing market needs,” said Scott Howat, Gates director of marketing and product management for the North American Aftermarket. “Our goal is to exceed customer expectations and continue to offer the best coverage of OE quality parts in the automotive aftermarket.”
