Robert Bosch LLC has announced the addition of 10 new and 36 relaunched SKUs to its aftermarket product lineup in the month of July. Additions were made to the braking, rotating machine and spark plug product lines.
Bosch QuietCast Disc Brake Pads
One new Bosch QuietCast Brake Pad set is now available, covering 24,000 units in operation in the U.S. That part number covers the 2004-’10 Audi A8 Quattro and 2004-’06 Volkswagen Phaeton.
All Bosch premium QuietCast Disc Brake Pads feature friction formulas specific to the application – semi-metallic, NAO or copper-free ceramic – and include synthetic lubricant with all applications.
Bosch Blue Disc Brake Pads
Bosch Blue Brake Pads feature OE-style, multi-layer shims that provide superior noise dampening characteristics. The company says they are designed to deliver quality and performance and are ideal for the shop owner who is a “generalist” looking to provide customers with the best value. Bosch Blue Brake Pads come towel-wrapped on select applications for added protection and value. The material used is similar to the shop towels that technicians use on a daily basis when working on their customers’ vehicles.
Two new Bosch Blue Brake Pad set SKUs are now available covering some 6,600 2012-’13 Freightliner Sprinter 3500 and 2011-’15 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 units in operation. One kit includes hardware.
Rotating Machines
The Bosch Rotating Machines group has added seven new SKUs for remanufactured alternators and starters, covering late-model domestic and Asian vehicles that are coming out of their warranty periods and are prime candidates for service in the aftermarket. The new part numbers extend coverage to 3.9 million vehicles in operation in the U.S.
Three new SKUs for remanufactured alternators cover vehicles including the 2011-’12 Nissan Sentra L4 cyl. 2.0L, 2010-’12 Nissan Versa L4 cyl. 1.8L, 2009-’10 Toyota Corolla L4 cyl. 1.8L, 2009-’10 Toyota Matrix L4 cyl. 1.8L, 2011-’15 Ford F-250 Super Duty V8 cyl. 6.7L Diesel and more.
Four new SKUs for remanufactured starters are now available for models including the 2008-’09 Kia Sorrento V6 cyl. 3.3L, 2010 Hyundai Accent L4 cyl. 1.6L, 2011-’12 Kia Rio L4 cyl. 1.6L with manual transmission, 2009-’11 Buick Lucerne V6 cyl. 3.9L and more.

Double Iridium Spark Plugs
Bosch is relaunching 36 double iridium spark plug part numbers in the month of July, available now.
The ultra-fine wire design and laser-welded tapered ground electrode provide increased performance and service life to 200 million domestic, Asian and European vehicles in operation in the U.S. The line also includes pin-to-pin spark plugs to replace those applications that are OE-equipped with this spark plug design.
