Bartec Adds QWIK-SENSOR Coverage

BartecBartec USA has announced the release of the next tool software update for its range of TPMS tools.

This latest release features the ability to program the newly released multi-coverage programmable sensor from Standard Motor Products (SMP). Bartec says the QWIK-SENSOR offering is engineered with the technological advancements that customers have come to expect from SMP and covers 94 percent of all domestic, European and Asian applications with three multi-coverage TPMS sensors.

According to Scot Holloway, CEO of Bartec USA, “Adding the QWIK-SENSOR to our arsenal of programmable sensor coverage gives even greater flexibility to the repair technician.”

Holloway further noted, “Combining QWIK-SENSOR coverage with Bartec’s easy to use tools, means tire retailers and auto service companies alike can service more cars and create more satisfied customers.”

All that’s required to program the QWIK-SENSOR is a current account at www.bartecusa.com and to download [and update] your Tech400+, Tech400SD or Tech500 tools with R52. Once your tool is updated with R52, programing the QWIK-SENSOR is as easy as a few button clicks of the tool, the company states.

“An added benefit of programming these sensors with the same tool that completes the TPMS relearn, [is that] you can test the sensor prior to installation” according to Michael Rose, Bartec product manager.
