Automotive technicians who want to enhance their mobile A/C and engine cooling system service knowledge should mark their calendars now for the 2007 edition of the MACS Worldwide Mobile A/C and Engine Cooling System Update clinics. According to MACS Manager of Service Training, Paul DeGuiseppi, some of the topics to be covered will include: avoiding mistakes while recharging; defending your diagnosis; finding hard to find coolant leaks, future A/C systems – what’s coming?; line couplings – so many different types; new refrigerants being proposed; repeat compressor failures – why, and how to avoid them; replacing cabin air filters; re-programming computers – better get ready; SAE Standard J2670 – why you need to know about it; highlights from the MACS 2007 convention technical program and more.
