Motorcar Parts Of America To Launch Additional Braking-Related Products At AAPEX

Motorcar Parts of America Inc. (MPA) has announced the expansion of its automotive aftermarket product offerings with the planned introduction of a premium line of brake rotors and brake pads at the upcoming AAPEX trade show, Oct. 30 in Las Vegas.

“The introduction of brake rotors and brake pads complements our current braking system product offerings and is consistent with our growth strategy within high-growth, non-discretionary aftermarket categories,” said Selwyn Joffe, chairman, president and CEO of Motorcar Parts of America Inc.

“We are committed to providing our customers with a comprehensive premium line of brake components, supported by a wide-range of value-added services that distinguish Motorcar Parts of America. We look forward to sales of these products in 2019,” Joffe added.

Industry sources estimate the aftermarket size today for the brake rotor category in the United States is approximately $3 billion at the retail level. The brake pad aftermarket size in United States is estimated to be more than $4 billion at retail.
