NGK Spark Plugs Awards Babcox Media Aftermarket Supplier Of The Year

The NGK Spark Plugs (U.S.A), Inc. Annual Supplier Conference seeks to develop better working relationships with vendors as strategic business partners through social networking activities and immersion into NGK goals and business objectives.

On May 23rd and 24th, NGK Spark Plugs (U.S.A.), Inc. held its 18th Annual Supplier Conference at Glenmoor Country Club in Canton, Ohio. This is a time for NGK to recognize the vendors that have stood out during the past year by awarding Suppliers of the Year.

This year, NGK recognized Babcox Media as the 2017 Aftermarket Supplier of the Year. The award was presented to Babcox Group Publisher Jim Merle and Multimedia Sales Representative Bobbie Adams, by NGK Assistant Manager of Marketing Angela Golden. “Babcox was chosen because of their growing support of NGK’s marketing initiatives,” said Golden, “The data-driven project initiatives and overall energy from Babcox set them apart.”

Annual Supplier Conference seeks to develop better working relationships with vendors as strategic business partners through social networking activities and immersion into NGK goals and business objectives. “We appreciate this recognition by NGK/NTK as Aftermarket Supplier of the Year and we value their acknowledgment of our long-standing media partnership,” said Merle.

Suppliers are also encouraged to participate in NGK’s Quality Circle competition, by showing new and innovative ways to save costs and increase service. “We hope our suppliers and business partners gain as much from this conference as the associates from NGK do,” said conference organizer and NGK Procurement Manager, Mike Proctor, “We feel this time spent together allows us to foster relationships beyond just work, which in turn allows us to better communicate and accomplish success in all our businesses.”
