Standard Motor Products Releases 155 New Parts For Intermotor Import Line

The release spans 34 product categories and expands coverage through the 2016 model year with more than 70 million additional VIO.

Standard-Intemotor-Part-LineStandard Motor Products Inc. (SMP) has announced the addition of 155 new part numbers to its Intermotor import line. The release spans 34 product categories and expands coverage through the 2016 model year with more than 70 million additional VIO.

SMP increased Intermotor’s switch coverage by 14 million VIO with the introduction of 58 SKUs, including 17 power window switches. The company also added 30 sensors, including ABS speed, accelerator pedal, camshaft, crankshaft, steering angle, TPMS and transmission output sensors. Another highlight is the release of 47 power door lock actuators covering 45 million VIO.

Phil Hutchens, vice president of engine management marketing, SMP, said, “With expansions to our sensor and switch lines, our latest release emphasizes our commitment to supplying import technicians with quality parts and increased coverage in important categories.”

All new applications are listed in the Intermotor Import ecatalog and in electronic catalog providers.
