Snap-on Introduces Polartek Dual A/C Machine

Combining the work of two machines into one powerful tool for recovering, recycling and recharging vehicle A/C systems, Snap-on introduces its new EEAC334 Polartek Dual A/C Machine. The unit handles both R134a and R1234yf refrigerants, with dedicated 30-lb. refillable tanks for each, so there is no risk of cross-contamination and no need to change tanks when switching between the two fluids, said the company.

“As we continue to see mobile A/C rapidly changing, it’s important to have a machine that keeps up,” said Roxanne Stowell, a Snap-on Tools product manager. “Many vehicle models are already using R1234yf as the new refrigerant required by model year 2021 under the EPA’s Rule 20. This machine makes it quick and easy to switch from one refrigerant to the other – with just a quick push of a button. This allows you to service any vehicle that comes into the shop.”

The Polartek Dual features a quick setup software guide and 10″ graphic touchscreen to easily maneuver through the machine selections. The unit’s larger status light allows technicians to monitor progress from afar while doing other jobs. All of this functionality delivered in a durable unit with large wheels for maximum portability, vehicle database, an on-board printer for easily showing vehicle service reports and two sets of 120” service hoses.
