The Gates Corporation, a global, diversified manufacturer of industrial, automotive and heavy-duty aftermarket products, recently announced it has expanded its extensive Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) quality automotive products line with more than 200 new part numbers covering numerous late-model vehicles.
The announcement includes both the new Barricade Marine Hose and Heavy-Duty Coolant Tubing.
Barricade Marine Hose
Gates introduces new Barricade fuel line hose with GreenShield technology for marine applications. Barricade Marine is a U.S. Coast Guard fire rated, low permeation fuel line that is compatible with virtually all fuels. Patent pending GreenShield barrier reduces permeation rate below EPA and CARB regulatory requirements. With working pressures up to 35 psi, Barricade Marine is ideal for all gasoline, diesel and bio-diesel marine applications. Available in 1/4", 5/16” and 3/8” sizes.
Heavy-Duty Coolant Tubing
Gates adds five new heavy-duty coolant tubes that help to minimize the effects of corrosion. This product features Gates proprietary Tuffcoat plating for better rust resistance on straight tubes. State-of-the-art bending and forming technology and thicker wall tubing withstand the rigors of installation and harsh over-the-road conditions, said the company.

The Gates announcement also includes a significant number of new SKUs and expanded coverage on hose and kits. This includes:
