Atlas Platinum Introduces Easy-To-Use Wheel Balancer

Atlas Automotive Equipment has combined the latest in manufacturing processes, American advancement and European technology to create Atlas Platinum, a new standard of shop service equipment. The new PWB50 2D data-entry wheel balancer (PWB50) features a durable keypad that provides technicians a simple interface.

Automatic entry of the distance and diameter via the automatic gauge makes the balancer fast and accurate. The easy-to-read LCD display also incorporates a digital guide for positioning adhesive weights in the exact location where the measurements were taken to deliver a precise wheel balance every time. It’s available in 110 or 220-volt power supply to make this a durable tool versatile enough for any full-service tire shop.

The new balancer offers a maximum wheel weight of 165 lbs. and the ability to handle 10 in. – 30 in. rims. This dynamic tool works easily with hammer-on or adhesive weights and provides a split-weight feature so weights can be hidden behind the spokes of premium wheels.

Not only is it easily stored, it also comes equipped with a foot pedal brake and plastic safety hood. This wheel balancer is the definition of a safe, ergonomic and dependable tool.
