Monday-morning quarterbacks now have a chance to show off their football savvy with a chance to win the ultimate football “road trip” – to Hawaii in February. ACDelco is offering the opportunity as part of ACDelco’s DuraStop® “Brake Bucks” Cash Back promotion to its Total Service Support (TSS) accounts and Independent Service Centers (ISCs) this fall.

“This is a great incentive for our TSS and ISC accounts to get excited about and involved with the promotion,” said Malcolm Fordyce, ACDelco merchandising manager. “Everyone who participates has a chance to win, and there are some fantastic prizes available.”
The TSS in each of ACDelco’s 10 Zone Territories with the greatest amount of ACDelco DuraStop purchases from August-November 2005 will win the Grand Prize: a trip for two to Honolulu, Hawaii. The seven-day/six-night package includes airfare, transfers, accommodations, meal allowance and other gifts and events for each winner and one guest.

TSS and ISC accounts can also win a trip to Hawaii by playing “ACDelco’s Expert Club” online football game at acdelcotechconnect.com. Owners and technicians can compete against one another by selecting their favorite pro football teams during each week of the 2005 season. There is no purchase necessary to participate. Full details with contest rules and regulations will be announced no later than August 1.

In addition, TSS and ISC accounts can win prizes with ACDelco’s “Brake Bucks” Scratch & Win cards with each qualifying purchase of ACDelco DuraStop friction pads, shoes and loaded calipers. There are more than 20,000 winning game cards, with a one-in-six chance of winning. There is no purchase necessary to participate. Complete rules and regulations are listed on the back of each game card. “Brake Bucks” game cards will be made available through participating ACDelco Warehouse Distributors while supplies last.

Both the “ACDelco’s Expert Club” online football game and the ACDelco “Brake Bucks” Scratch & Win cards start Sept. 1, 2005.

An ACDelco consumer promotion to further drive sales complements the contests and sweepstakes for ACDelco TSS and ISC accounts. ACDelco’s DuraStop “Brake Bucks” Cash Back promotion during September and October of 2005 offers customers a cash-back rebate on ACDelco DuraStop brake products. ACDelco will reimburse consumers $15 for each set of select quality ACDelco DuraStop friction pads, shoes and loaded calipers purchased from and installed by a participating ISC. There is a $30 maximum rebate limit per customer.
