Orient Engine, a manufacturer of Japanese engines, recently announced the opening of True Test Engines, a separate business unit developed specifically to meet the needs of independent repair facilities and new car dealers.

Named after a hot-run testing procedure where each engine is actually started and run under its own power, True Test Engines is committed to providing installers a top-quality line of fully tested, Japanese long blocks at very competitive prices. Other program elements aimed at the installer market are free shipping and core retrieval, a three-year, unlimited mileage, nationwide warranty and professional customer service support.

Roger Deckard, president of both Orient Engine and True Test Engines, stated, “True Test Engines has already started filling a gap that exists in the Japanese engine business. By offereing a direct supply of quality remanufactured engines, supported by an experienced customer support staff, we plan to help Japanese import specialists and general repair facilities service the growing demand for Japanese engine applications.”
