The partnership started in 2020 with the companies collaborating to develop Dayco Hybrid Modules (DHM) for EVs.
Dayco says six new SKUs cover hundreds of thousands of Class 8 fleet vehicles on the road today.
The expansion includes coverage for almost 30 million vehicles that require an electric water pump.
Techs can register their Dayco Water Pump or Dayco Timing Belt Kit with Water Pump purchase to be covered for 125K miles.
This award follows similar recognition from vehicle manufacturers such as FCA and GM, as well as several trade organizations.
The first was secured at the 2019 Import Vehicle Community Product and Marketing Awards and recognized the company’s Catalog App, which earned the Best Electronic Media title.
Belts continue to be one of the most replaced wear items on vehicles today.
Over the past 20 years, we have seen water pumps and cooling systems evolve to improve start-up emissions. We have also seen a revolution in the material used for engine blocks, cylinder heads and cooling system components. Today, coolant may flow through an iron block, aluminum cylinder head and plastic thermostat housing.
Dayco says its new water pumps are manufactured to the same high standards as the many existing components the company manufactures and distributes globally.
Some of the new features include a “Where To Buy” section that now allows users to search by zip code or city, and a “Pinch-to-Zoom” feature on routings and coolant hose diagrams.
Dayco’s interactive routing guides show users all related parts used on specific applications, along with the placement of those parts within the actual routing.
