Akebono promoted its wide range of brake friction materials & foundation brake assemblies at AAPEX21. Sponsored by Akebono.
The new kits increase coverage by more than 2.5 million vehicles.
Old rotors should be replaced or resurfaced, and the hub-mounting surface should be cleaned thoroughly.
The contest was developed to bring awareness to a recent product expansion, that Akebono now offers abutment clip hardware for all popular applications across all three brands; ProACT, EURO and Akebono Performance, totaling more than 400 part numbers.
The product awareness campaign will continue through the end of the year, and is expected to conclude sometime in the first half of 2020 after the transition of parts has been completed.
The Akebono “Brake into the Action” promotion offers technicians in the U.S., Canada and Latin America $2.50 for each documented kit of Akebono pads installed. In addition, participants in the U.S. and Canada can enter to win one of 10 top prizes, valued up to $10,000 each.
