The Snap-on EVAP Smart Smoke Machine (EELD100A) contains innovative Diagnostic Smoke technology for EVAP testing and general purpose leak test applications. The patented UltraTraceUV non-contaminating dye solution accurately pinpoints the leaks that smoke alone cannot. The EELD100A features a combination LED and UV light with specialized glasses, as well as a variable flow control that manually reduces the flow to help pinpoint the exact location of a leak.
With the Snap-on EVAP Smart Smoke Machine, service technicians can diagnose eight of the top 10 emission diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs). The smoke machine conveniently functions with OEM-specified nitrogen and portable CO2 bottle (both optional) or shop air.
The smoke solution does not produce an unpleasant odor in the shop. The EELD100A is lightweight, compact and features a convenient hanger for under car and under hood use. An optional cover is available to protect from shop dirt and dust.
