Publisher’s Perspective: Are You ASE Certified?

On the surface, that's a simple yes-or-no question. But, it's actually a bit of a loaded question. Earning ASE certification involves answering correctly enough questions to get a passing score, and this is certainly not a simple task.

On the surface, that’s a simple yes-or-no question. But, it’s actually a bit of a loaded question. Earning ASE certification involves answering correctly enough questions to get a passing score, and this is certainly not a simple task. To be one of the 40 technicians honored at the Fall board meeting of the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) held recently at the Marriott City Center in Charlotte, NC, it goes beyond being a top scorer on the ASE certification tests. It’s also about delivering service excellence on each and every repair, and getting involved in community service to build customer loyalty and trust.

The staffs of Brake & Front End, ImportCar and Underhood Service congratulates the winners, as well as the award sponsors, for their understanding of the need to promote professionalism in our industry and their daily commitment to highest-quality repairs.
