Penray Launches New Website

Penray's redesigned site is simpler to use and contains volumes of new information such as technical bulletins, product catalogs, catalog and sell sheet downloads, product images for download, interactive sections, training and updated governmental regulations.

Penray has launched a new website, www.penray.com, to serve as a valuable resource for both customers and consumers. The company said it hopes the redesign also reflects its position as a leading global corporation specializing in the heavy-duty and automotive chemical industries.

The redesigned site is simpler to use and contains volumes of new information such as technical bulletins, product catalogs, catalog and sell sheet downloads, product images for download, interactive sections, training and updated governmental regulations.

“Our new website was designed to be extremely user-friendly for professional automotive and heavy-duty technicians and DIY’ers to reflect our ongoing commitment of setting the standard of excellence in product quality and service,” said Chris McKenzie, director of marketing.

Phase two of the website transformation will take place in 2007. Additions at that time will include customized marketing options, secure customer sections and online buying.

House Subcommittee Votes to Approve REPAIR Act

The REPAIR Act will now go before the full House Energy and Commerce Committee for consideration.

Members of the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Innovation, Data, and Commerce unanimously voted to advance the Right to Equitable and Professional Auto Industry Repair (REPAIR) Act (H.R. 906) to the full Energy and Commerce Committee for consideration.

Building on two recent congressional hearings and last week’s White House roundtable on Right to Repair, this support from Congress is a promising step forward in codifying vehicle data access protections – as part of the broader right to repair movement – in federal law. The bill was introduced in the House of Representatives in February this year by Congressmen Neal Dunn, Brendan Boyle and Warren Davidson as well as Congresswoman Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, the only repair shop owner in Congress. Since then, it has gained an additional 40-plus bipartisan cosponsors.
