Monroe Kicks Off 90th Anniversary Celebration with $90 Consumer Offer on Shocks and Struts

Monroe’s 90th anniversary promotion enables consumers to receive $20, $50 or $90 certificates payable for any additional automotive service at a participating location when they purchase Sensa-Trac, Monroe Reflex, Gas-Magnum or Quick-Strut products during the program period.

Tenneco Inc. is kicking off the Monroe brand’s 90th anniversary celebration with a promotion that will reward consumers with service comeback certificates valued at up to $90 for qualifying purchases of premium Monroe shocks and struts in March and April 2006.

The company’s 90th anniversary promotion enables consumers to receive $20, $50 or $90 certificates payable for any additional automotive service at a participating location when they purchase Sensa-Trac, Monroe Reflex, Gas-Magnum or Quick-Strut products during the program period.

“This promotion is an excellent example of Monroe’s commitment to growing the ride control category by helping service dealers build stronger relationships with the consumer,” said Sheryl Bomia, North American aftermarket programs manager, Tenneco. “Vehicle owners appreciate the fact that Monroe is helping to cover the cost of future services, and the installer has another opportunity to demonstrate their expertise in undercar and other service areas.”

Tenneco will award $90 comeback certificates to consumers who purchase four Monroe Reflex or Sensa-Trac struts in March or April. Consumers purchasing a combination of two Sensa-Trac or Monroe Reflex shocks and two corresponding struts will earn $50 comeback certificates, as will customers purchasing two Quick-Strut assemblies. For the purchase of four Sensa-Trac, Monroe Reflex or Gas-Magnum shock absorbers during the program period, the consumer will receive a $20 comeback certificate.

Tenneco is backing this exclusive offer with an added trade incentive for members of the 2006 Tenneco Expert Plus promotional program. Expert Plus member shops will be able to earn Monroe 90th anniversary commemorative apparel through the sale of qualifying ride control products throughout March and April.
