Melling Launches New PCI-Branded Water Pumps

After making its acquisition of Preferred Components in 2018, the product line has expanded to now offer water pumps, according to Mark Melling, CEO.

Melling announced the launch of a new product category under the Preferred Components (PCI) brand, PCI Water Pumps. After making its acquisition of Preferred Components in 2018, the product line has expanded to now offer water pumps, according to Mark Melling, CEO.

“The inclusion of water pumps and water pump kits is a nice addition to our PCI brand of parts for installers and distributors,” said Melling.

“The water pump offering is comprised of mechanical, electrical and auxiliary water pumps and covers both domestic and import applications. The PCI brand positioning as a quality line of timing products within the industry allowed for leveraging the brand making the water pump program ideal for distributors looking for an alternative supplier,” said Jeff Sandt, Melling vice president of aftermarket water pumps.

In addition to the PCI line of new water pumps, Sandt added that the company will be launching a Melling Branded water pump that will be made in its Jackson, Michigan, OEM facility.
