Katech Performance, the aftermarket performance division of Katech Inc., is ready to meet the demands of the most discerning LS engine enthusiasts – on the street and at the track.

With race-proven LS1/LS6 and LS2/LS7 crate engines and components, Katech Performance represents the next level of power, personalization and unique combination opportunities for General Motors (GM) Generation III and Generation IV small block powered vehicles, including the Chevrolet Corvette, Camaro, Silverado, SSR and Tahoe; Cadillac CTS-V; Pontiac Firebird and GTO; and GMC Sierra and Yukon.

Katech Performance crate engine packages promise enhanced horsepower, torque and durability, with many unique configurations available to meet individual needs and budgets – including four exciting "Attack" packages in the company’s "LS7 Arsenal" for outputs from 575 to well beyond 600 horsepower.

Cylinder cases, cylinder heads and engine internal components – including crankshafts, pistons, camshafts, intake valves, valve springs, retainers, throttle bodies and adjustable belt tensioners – also are part of the Katech Performance lineup that includes valve covers, coil relocation brackets and fuel rail spacers.

"We’ve earned the trust and respect of racing’s top competitors, lap after lap after lap, for more than 30 years," said Caleb Newman, vice president, director of engineering, Katech Performance. "The engineering, manufacturing, assembly and testing personnel that contribute to Katech’s race-winning heritage are the same that design and build our aftermarket engines and parts."

Since 1978, Katech Inc. has captured more than 50 driver’s and manufacturer’s championships competing in the world’s most prestigious racing leagues, including the SCCA SPEED World Challenge, American Speed Association (ASA), International Motor Sports Association (IMSA), American Le Mans Series (ALMS) and NASCAR.

Katech’s legacy also is deeply rooted in automotive endurance racing with multiple class wins in the renowned 12 Hours of Sebring, 24 Hours of Daytona and 24 Hours of Le Mans.

"Whether you’re an amateur weekend racer or a professional race team, Katech Performance is your one-stop shop," said Newman. "And we’re the best source for airflow and engine development as well as technical support services including boring, honing, fabrication, welding, dyno tuning and prototype parts."
