Jeff Gordon, Inc. (JGI), and GoMotorBids.com have entered into a marketing agreement that has allowed unique Jeff Gordon items to come out of the JGI warehouse and into the hands of the public. The items, which up until now have been stored, include rare and unique race-used memorabilia, apparel, as well as artwork and one-of-a-kind manufacturer’s prototypes. The auction started last Sunday on GoMotorBids.com and is open to the public.

"We are honored to be the preferred purveyor of this rare material,” Pat Rainey, GoMotorBids president said. “And, to be able to make it available to fans and race memorabilia collectors is a huge thrill."

John Bickford, vice president and general manager of Jeff Gordon, Inc. added, "JGI is about building strong partnerships and we feel that we have furthered this goal by aligning ourselves with GoMotorBids.com."

Gordon’s warehouse of items will be available on an ongoing basis until the collection is sold.

"The growing fascination with race collectibles has taken on huge proportions and our goal is to be #1 in this arena," said Rainey. "We have always been unique in that we own the entire inventory that is listed on our website."

House Subcommittee Votes to Approve REPAIR Act

The REPAIR Act will now go before the full House Energy and Commerce Committee for consideration.

Members of the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Innovation, Data, and Commerce unanimously voted to advance the Right to Equitable and Professional Auto Industry Repair (REPAIR) Act (H.R. 906) to the full Energy and Commerce Committee for consideration.

Building on two recent congressional hearings and last week’s White House roundtable on Right to Repair, this support from Congress is a promising step forward in codifying vehicle data access protections – as part of the broader right to repair movement – in federal law. The bill was introduced in the House of Representatives in February this year by Congressmen Neal Dunn, Brendan Boyle and Warren Davidson as well as Congresswoman Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, the only repair shop owner in Congress. Since then, it has gained an additional 40-plus bipartisan cosponsors.
