Direct Lift Website Easier To Use

Improved Look And Features Make New Direct Lift Website Easier To Use

Direct Lift, one of North America's leading enthusiast lift brands, has updated directlift.com to make it easier for car collectors, restorers and professional mechanics to connect with the company and find the motorcycle, car and truck lifts they need.

Direct Lift, one of North America’s leading enthusiast lift brands, has updated directlift.com to make it easier for car collectors, restorers and professional mechanics to connect with the company and find the motorcycle, car and truck lifts they need.

“When we started the website redesign process, we wanted to accomplish two things,” says David Fischmer, marketing manager for Vehicle Service Group (VSG), Direct Lift’s parent company. “First, the information had to be easy to find and understand, so anyone visiting could instantly identify the right lift for their needs. Second, we wanted to provide an opportunity for customers to reach out and share their experiences with Direct Lift products.”

Direct Lift offers two-post, four-post, mid-rise and motorcycle/ATV lifts, plus body rotisseries and lift accessories. Every product is available from a network of local distributor warehouses and also can be purchased online.

For those wanting to find their local warehouse, the website now features an improved map of Direct Lift’s 22 locations across the United States and Canada. The map was built using Google Maps, so a user can click on any location and calculate driving directions. A description of each distributor, along with a phone number and website link, is included for each point on the map.

Once customers receive their lifts, they can return to directlift.com and submit stories and photos of the equipment in use on the “Tell Us Your Story” page. Testimonials may be posted on the site itself or on Direct Lift’s Facebook page, www.facebook.com/DirectLift or on Twitter with the username @directlift. Several user-submitted stories and photos are already available on the “Our Customers” page, providing potential buyers with the opportunity to see how others are using their lifts.

The new home page features large images and a link to Direct Lift’s garage ceiling height calculator, which helps customers determine the space requirements needed to use a four-post lift for top-and-bottom storage of two vehicles. The calculator is accompanied by a new video that shows how to measure a vehicle’s height and properly enter it into the calculator. Once the heights of both vehicles have been determined, the calculator shows how high the garage ceiling must be to accommodate a four-post lift.
