Turning heads for its design and advanced consumer technology
At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas in January, the world’s most important electronics exhibition, Audi debuted a host of new technologies including:
- A four-core processor capable of processing 8 billion operations per second.
- A virtual tachometer with a needle that is rendered anew 60 times per second to ensure absolutely fluid motion.
- Audi tablet as a multimedia control panel and simple wireless communication with mobile devices.
- Piloted parking and innovative Audi wireless charging (AWC) technology for electric mobility.
- Solutions such as the Predictive Efficiency Assistant and adaptive cruise control, including congestion assistant, point the way toward upcoming piloted driving technology. The Q7 is capable of lapping the famous Hockenheim speedway at 149.1 mph without a driver.
The Audi Q7 was named winner of the EyesOn Design Awards “Best Designed Interior” Category at the 2015 North American International Auto Show. The 2016 Q7 introduces new design language to both exterior and interior features, boasting a lightweight, multi-material body and all-new chassis. While the exterior dimensions have remained similar to the outgoing model, the Q7 offers substantially more interior room for passengers, offering seating for up to seven passengers.
