Free ETHOS PRO Training Solutions Videos Added To Snap-on Website, YouTube Channel

Snap-on-EthosTo help technicians learn the features and functionality of their scan tool, Snap-on has added Training Solutions videos for the new ETHOS PRO full-function scan tool and Quick Tips videos to its website at http://diagnostics.snapon.com/trainingsolutions and YouTube channel.

The ETHOS PRO Training Solutions videos provide  product training that is available to technicians 24 hours a day, seven days a week, when it is most convenient for them. The videos are free of charge and technicians can revisit the training sessions as often as necessary to learn at their own pace and comfort level. Topics include introduction and navigation; scanner codes; scanner data PID view; scanner data graphing view, functional tests; global OBD II; and previous vehicles and data.

The Quick Tips videos are designed to help technicians speed up their diagnostic capabilities. The videos are based on real case studies and show how to apply diagnostics to specific vehicles and applications through two minute demonstrations showing how Snap-on scan tools solve tough problems.

“Our instructional videos teach all of the latest diagnostic techniques so technicians can get the most out of their diagnostic tools,” said Mark Schaefer, director of marketing, Snap-on Diagnostics. “Training Solutions show how to operate your Snap-on diagnostic tool, while Quick Tips show how to apply your diagnostic tool to solve specific vehicle problems. All of our videos feature expert technicians and are available at no charge.”

ETHOS PRO comes standard with OEM-specific coverage and functions such as functional tests, codes, data, service resets, bi-directional controls, and adaptions and relearns to validate repairs and finish the jobs that others only start. It includes OEM-specific coverage for over 100 systems and 48 domestic, Asian and European makes for vehicles as far back as 1983. ETHOS PRO also covers newer technologies including TPMS, hybrids, body control, suspension, collision avoidance and infotainment systems.
