CRP Industries, Inc. has announced that its 2006 Domestic and Import catalogs are ready for distribution. The new 2006 catalogs cover model years up to 2005 on an extensive range of cars, light trucks and SUVs in the NAFTA market. CRP has continued to add a complete range of the latest ContiTech serpentine belts, timing belts and timing belt tensioner kits to their already extensive program.

“Our ongoing commitment to provide a complete program significantly adds to our appeal in the market place,” stated Dan Schildge, COO. “CRP’s ContiTech belts offer the same superior quality that ContiTech has made for such OE customers in Europe as Audi, BMW, Mercedes Benz and Volkswagen.”

The AAPEX show in Las Vegas also provided CRP, in cooperation with ContiTech, the perfect forum to display ContiTech’s New TOOL-KIT for Elastic Multiple V-ribbed Belts in the New Product Showcase. An innovation in belt technology, these highly elastic belts from ContiTech hold tension on their own and no longer require a belt tensioner. The benefits of this new technology is extensive: Pretension for entire service life, no automatic or fixed tension take-up necessary, no retensioning required during service life, extended service life and reduced vibration. Though not yet available for vehicles in the US, ContiTech expects to be adding more and more applications in the months to come as this technology becomes more accepted by car manufacturers.
