Electric power steering contains a steering wheel position sensor and a steering input torque sensor. The steering position sensor should read “zero” when the vehicle is traveling straight ahead.

If the TPMS/LTPWS warning light is illuminated (continuously or flashing), the TPMS/LTPWS system can be diagnosed by turning the ignition to the “OFF” and then to the “ON” position.
