Robert Bosch LLC has added steering to its portfolio of quality automotive system components. The Bosch Automotive Steering Division was created in 2015, but will make its first aftermarket appearance at the Bosch booth (No. 5041) in AAPEX 2016, Nov. 1-3 in Las Vegas.

Bosch Automotive Steering develops technically sophisticated solutions for all major vehicle manufacturers. It also is instrumental in developing steering technologies that are critical for autonomous driving vehicles, says the company. In the aftermarket, Bosch offers products for both passenger and commercial vehicles, covering conventional hydraulic steering systems, as well as newer electric and active steering systems.

Bosch product specialists will be in the booth at AAPEX to introduce a number of products from the aftermarket steering portfolio, including steering gears and steering pumps that are designed to offer OE fit, form and function, including:

Bosch Power Steering Gears are available for applications ranging from classic rack and pinion, to state-of-the-art electric to intelligent active steering. The electric systems are designed to lower power consumption and improve gas mileage.

Bosch Power Steering Pumps are designed for optimum performance and deliver high capacity pressures for all driving demands. Offered for both mechanical and electric systems, Bosch pumps are designed to minimize power consumption.
