The Car Care Council Women’s Board announces Beck/Arnley Worldparts Corporation has agreed to be a sponsor of the 2006 scholarship program.
Scholarships will be awarded to female students who are pursuing education to prepare themselves for a career in the automotive aftermarket. Scholarships are available for post-secondary students who have completed one year at an ASE-certified, post-secondary automobile technology program, and high school seniors who plan on attending an ASE-certified, post-secondary automobile technology program.
“On behalf of the Women’s Board, I would like to extend my sincerest thanks to Beck/Arnley for their extremely generous donation to the scholarship program,” said Katie Noga, president of the Car Care Council’s Women’s Board. “Their support will help increase the pool of talented women completing their education and making a career in the aftermarket.“
The Women’s Board is comprised of professional women and men, including company executives, service shop owners, service writers, motor sports figures, association executives and consultants, who are dedicated to informing female audiences about proper vehicle maintenance and safety, while encouraging young people to investigate automotive career choices.
