ASA Announces Dates, Location for 2006 Annual Business Meeting

The Automotive Service Association (ASA) has announced its 2006 annual business meeting will be held April 26-29 at the Driskill Hotel in Austin, TX. Highlighting the agenda will be open meetings of the ASA affiliate assembly and board of directors, as well as an operations committee forum featuring both collision and mechanical committee members.

The Automotive Service Association (ASA) has announced its 2006 annual business meeting will be held April 26-29 at the Driskill Hotel in Austin, TX. Highlighting the agenda will be open meetings of the ASA affiliate assembly and board of directors, as well as an operations committee forum featuring both collision and mechanical committee members. Ron Pyle, ASA president and chief staff executive, will deliver a state-of-the-association address during the Saturday luncheon, and a new chairman of the ASA board of directors will be sworn in during the event.

"ASA’s annual business meeting allows our association leaders to come together to discuss current issues, lay the groundwork for future accomplishments and review the progress of the past year," said Pyle. "Our board of directors, affiliate representatives and division operations committees are among the various association representatives who will be on hand during the event to address the specific needs of today’s independent service providers."
