The Automotive Service Association (ASA) has announced that the 2006 Congress of Automotive Repair and Service (CARS) will be held Nov. 2-4 at The Mirage in Las Vegas. CARS is sponsored by ASA’s Mechanical Division and is an official event of Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week (AAIW), held annually in Las Vegas.

CARS will again offer cutting-edge technical training and AMI-approved management courses. The event will also feature an exhibitor showcase highlighting beneficial products and services for the automotive service professional.

"Plans are under way to provide another outstanding CARS event. Several technical training programs will focus on flash reprogramming and other hot topics in the industry today," said Robbie Addison, manager of ASA’s Mechanical Division. "I would urge everyone to put CARS on their list of things to do in 2006."

Discounts will again be offered to attendees who register early. Discount information and other details about the event will be posted on the official CARS website, www.CARSonline.org, as they become available.

ASA advances professionalism and excellence in the automotive repair industry through education, representation and member services. For additional information about ASA, go to www.asashop.org, or visit ASA’s legislative website at www.TakingTheHill.com.
