ACDelco Brings Back ‘Brake Bucks’ Promotion

The summer months can bring an increase in vehicle traffic due to vacations, graduations, weddings and family reunions. Whether travels are for these planned trips or just routine activities, it's a good idea to check your vehicle's brake components. The summer months can bring an increase in vehicle traffic due to vacations, graduations, weddings and family reunions. Whether travels are for these planned trips or just routine activities, it’s a good idea to check your vehicle’s brake components. To help owners prepare their vehicles for summer driving, ACDelco’s Real Car Guys invite consumers to take advantage of ACDelco’s “Brake Bucks” promotion.

The ACDelco’s “Brake Bucks” mail-in rebate promotion gives vehicle owners the opportunity to receive up to a $20 rebate when they purchase ACDelco DuraStop brake products from participating Independent Service Centers (ISCs).

ACDelco will reimburse consumers $10 for each set of high-quality ACDelco DuraStop friction products (pads, shoes and loaded calipers) purchased from and installed by a participating ISC starting June 1 through July 31, 2006. The offer is not valid at new vehicle dealerships or on products being replaced under warranty, and there is a $20 maximum rebate limit per customer.

“ACDelco’s Fall 2005 ‘Brake Bucks’ promotion was very well-received by consumers, and ISCs that participate in our Total Service Support (TSS) program said they experienced an increase in traffic to their shops,” said Malcolm Fordyce, ACDelco merchandising specialist. “Based on that popularity, we’ve brought back ‘Brake Bucks’ just in time for the summer driving season.”
