The 2007 Monroe Shocks and Struts Master Catalog, featuring more than 200 new part numbers for popular late-model domestic and import vehicles as well as a growing range of replacement solutions for specialty and performance applications, is now available from Tenneco Inc.

The new catalog reflects the Monroe brand’s commitment to offering superior coverage as well as Tenneco’s leadership as a supplier of original equipment ride control components and systems to more than 30 global vehicle manufacturers.

“We offer a complete line of premium shocks and struts that are engineered to help restore or improve OE-style ride and handling,” said Mark Christiaanse, director of product management, Monroe shocks and struts. “Regardless of the application, when the technician or consumer specifies Monroe, they will receive a unit that has been designed, built and tuned to that vehicle’s ride and handling characteristics.”

The 2007 catalog includes more than 100 new replacement strut part numbers, more than 40 additional strut mount SKUs and 21 new Monroe Quick Strut assemblies for import and domestic passenger vehicles. Tenneco also has continued to expand the popular offering of Monroe Reflex monotube shock absorbers for light trucks that were originally equipped with monotube technology.

In addition to conventional ride control products, the new catalog features self-leveling dampers, electronic dampers, steering stabilizers, commercial-vehicle shock absorbers, and the brand’s expanded offering of MAX-LIFT gas-charged lift supports. Also featured in the catalog is Tenneco’s Rancho RS5000 shocks for stock and lifted trucks.

“Distributors, jobbers and service dealers will see that Monroe has assembled a complete package of competitive tools designed to help them accelerate the growth of their ride control business – from exceptional products and the market’s best coverage to complete solutions for specialty and performance applications,” Christiaanse said. “And this full package is backed by extensive consumer advertising and promotions that help drive bay traffic.”

Monroe also provides a comprehensive product satisfaction guarantee – the Safe & Sound 90-day, risk-free offer – to help service dealers promote the added confidence that comes with the brand’s premium ride control products. (See www.monroe.com for guarantee details.)
