Snap-on A/C Flyer Features Tools For Keeping Cool

The Snap-on A/C Equipment and Tools Flyer features recharging and recycling, leak detecting and servicing, and other important tools necessary to help shops prepare for what could be one of the hottest summers on record.

snapAs the days get longer and hotter, Snap-on has tools that will equip techs to help their customers beat the heat. The National Weather Service and the Weather Company are both predicting well-above average temperatures across all 50 states making it a steamy summer for drivers. With A/C systems cranked to full power and running more frequently earlier in the season, the need for maintenance and recharging comes as no surprise for techs. In many cases, consumers, however, don’t fret over their vehicle’s A/C system until something goes wrong making this a common rush job for busy shops. The Snap-on A/C Equipment and Tools Flyer features recharging and recycling, leak detecting and servicing, and other important tools necessary to help shops prepare for what could be one of the hottest summers on record.

“Snap-on works with techs to learn about the tools they need day in and day out, year round. If hotter-than-normal temperatures are ahead, we want them to be in the know with what’s trending out there,” says Mark Ganey, product manager at Snap-on. “The A/C Equipment and Tools Flyer has a variety of tools including test gauges, heated sensor leak detectors and thermometers — all designed to assist with common jobs.”

The Snap-on TEMP100 Multi-Functional Pocket Thermometer verifies A/C and heating temperatures to ensure proper functioning. Covering a wide temperature range from minus 58° F to 400° F, this small thermometer features a magnetic-tipped protective sleeve that doubles as a pickup tool. “This thermometer is designed for various applications whether it’s getting an accurate reading of vent temperatures to ensure proper air flow or picking up loose fasteners while working underhood to repair an A/C system,” says Ganey. “With a hot summer ahead, even the smallest tools can make a difference during back-to-back A/C service and repair. And, and we know drivers depend on our technicians equipped with the highest quality tools to keep them cool.”

The Snap-on A/C Equipment and Tools Flyer is full of numerous specials available now through August 31, 2016. Customers can learn more about tools and products featured in the flyer by contacting their participating Snap-on franchisee or other sales representative, visiting www.snapon.com or calling toll free 877-SNAPON-4 (877-762-7664).
