Robinair Introduces New 34988NI Premium A/C Recover, Recycle And Recharge Machine In North America

Robinair has announced the 34988NI Premium A/C Recovery Machine as the newest addition to the Robinair product line-up. Designed to assist technicians and fleet owners conducting A/C recovery work, the machine recovers, recycles, evacuates, leak tests and recharges vehicle systems quickly and with unmatched accuracy. The 34988NI is designed for use with R-134a, covering the vast majority of passenger vehicles on roads today.

Robinair - LogoThe 34988NI is the only fully automatic machine on the market and can recover, vacuum, leak test and charge on its own, eliminating the need to monitor the machine while in operation.

Robinair’s patented “Automatic Refrigerant Refill” automatically maintains a sufficient supply of refrigerant in its internal tank for vehicle service and alerts technicians it’s time to change the supply. The 34988NI also will automatically add oil if necessary. Using load cells to measure the amount of oil removed from the system, the machine automatically injects the correct amount of lubricant back into the system.

Additional maintenance projects are convenient and simple with the 34988NI, which features a large, easy-to-read color display and a printer as standard upgrades. When detecting leaks, the machine can inject UV dye into the vehicle’s A/C system to locate leaks that are difficult to see at a glance. Equipped with two separate oil inject bottles, the 34988NI can store and inject two different types of oils to help increase technician efficiencies when servicing vehicles.

An optional refrigerant charge and oil capacities database is available for North American market vehicles, saving time from having to look up unknown charge amounts and oil capacities. The 34988NI is SAE J2788 compliant, exceeding strict requirements for charge accuracy and recovery efficiency, recovering up to 98.5 percent of refrigerant.
