Hunter-flyerHunter Engineering’s Quick Check and Quick Tread now fully integrate with the AutoServe1 digital vehicle inspection and customer communication system. According to AutoServe1, its product is one of the only digital inspection solutions to deliver this integration to the independent auto repair industry.

This integration allows shops to immediately deliver total vehicle inspections, with photos and measurements to customers’ smartphones. With improved inspections and professional customer reports, shops can now deliver and sell more services per customer visit and increase their average ticket sold, according to the two companies.

The Quick Check and Quick Tread data is integrated into the AutoServe1 electronic multi-point inspection and auto-populated into the inspection report allowing shops to operate more efficiently by eliminating the need for manual data re-entry and paper inspections.

The Quick Check inspection system identifies needed service opportunities in less than two minutes, according to the company. This system checks wheel alignment, tire tread depth, tire inflation, battery health, diagnostic codes and braking balance.

According to Jamie Cuthbert, president of AutoServe1, “The integration delivers two core values. First, to inspect every vehicle with a complete multi-point and, second, to provide the inspection results in an easy-to-understand digital format to customers’ smart phones. This allows shop owners to sell service more easily and more quickly.”

The AutoServe1 integration allows shops to record valuable inspection data on every vehicle that enters the inspection bay by providing a full shop solution by integrating with shop management systems like Protractor. Service advisors can then easily describe service recommendations to vehicle owners with the comprehensive and consistent inspection report creating trust and increasing customer education.
